I don’t find any of the example AI output designs shown in this thread to be compelling. They might equal or approach a bunch of the throwaway display font designs from the phototype era or the 1001 …1 -

If ever there were a demand for AI in type design, it would be in manual hinting. I wonder if someone is already working on that.1
